Myths and reality about freshly made juices

     Is you absolutely sure of the fact that the morning (and entire subsequent day) can become good, if we begin it with the glass of freshly made juice?  Certainly, all female magazines vying convince you, that this is the best breakfast, which makes it possible to forget about calories and to supply  yourself with all vitamins! Alas - you fell victim to fraudulent advertising. 

 

IS USEFUL TO ALL

 

     Juice instead of the breakfast, to the hungry stomach? In this case, you must be completely sure of the fact that with alimentary organs you have not any problems. There are many organic acids in the juices, increasing the acidity of gastric juice. Therefore, during gastritis with peracidity and ulcer of stomach better not to risk.  

 

     Another medical warning concerns of the pancreas and gall bladder.  Juices stimulate their work and can provoke the aggravations of pancreatitis and cholecystitis - of sufficiently serious diseases.  Do the bowels work with intermissions?  Then renounce a grape, pear and apple juice. They cause the increased gas-formation.  Better put off experiments with the vegetable juices on day off.  Doctors - naturopaths recommend all vegetable juices (except pumpkin) as the purgative.  How will your organism react to them ? it is a sealed mystery. 

 

THERE IS TOO LITTLE CALORIES AND THERE ARE NO CARBOHYDRATES IN THE JUICE 

 

     And you think,  one may drink it during the weight loss " as much as desired "? Not a bit! There are  calories, which it is necessary to take into account, and carbohydrates - in the form of fruit sugar.  So that be attentive! 

 

ONE GLASS IS ENOUGH

 

     Do you think that 150 g of fresh-juice will satisfy all needs of your organism of vitamin C? Yes, but on condition that, you is... 4 (four!) years old and you have drunk orange juice. Apple juice contains vitamin C several times less; therefore for adult person it is necessary to drink about 450 g of this juice. In my opinion, too much!  

 

     But also this is yet not all!  Vitamin C is incredibly capricious.  It begins to be destroyed already with the contact with air and metallic surfaces of juicer.  Moreover, it disappears even during the correct storage of entire fruits and vegetables.  Therefore take out fruits from the refrigerator directly before the preparation of beverage and no way hold them in the water - ascorbic acid relates to water-soluble vitamins; therefore it simply... will leave into the water, with which you flooded purified carrot.  To calculate, how much of vitamin C " remained " in the cup 15 minutes after the preparation of juice is practically impossible.  Its quantity depends on the temperature of air in the kitchen and a quantity of daylight (ascorbic acid is sensitive to sun).   

 

     So that rule is one:  only it pressed - instantly drink!  Yes, and do not decide to leave fresh in refrigerator till the evening and, especially, until the morning.  The matter even is not in the fact that it will remain few vitamins in it.  Juice - suitable nutrient medium for bacteria, and all microbes, that are located on the surface of fruit and inside the juicer, with ease penetrate the beverage. Accordingly, benefit from this " hotbed " of infection is more than doubtful... 

 

     There is one additional important nuance.  There is no cellulose or as it is still called, dietary fibers in the juices. They are the best " engine " in nature for your gastrointestinal tract.  It is not necessary to create artificial scarcity. 


     Therefore the resume is such:  it is possible to replace only one of 2-3 day portions of fruits and vegetables by juice, and not more.

of grapefruit - 70 kcal and 17 g

of orange - 78 kcal and 18 g

of grape - 116 kcal and 29 g

of pineapple  - 104 kcal and 26 g of sugar
