Diet for cerebrovascular disorders and hypertension

This Diet is good for support body in case cerebrovascular disorders and hypertension on the background of cardiovascular disease. Diet to prevent hypertension is designed for long-term use and provides the body with all the essential vitamins and minerals.

The main rule of diet to prevent hypertension - respect the rules of the consumption of certain types of products.

    Vegetables - should be consumed per day to 5 servings, preferably raw, steamed, baked or boiled. (1 serving - ½ cup cooked vegetables or 1 cup of fresh vegetables sliced).

    Fruits - eat 4-5 servings a day. (1 serving - a 100ml fresh juice or ¼ cup of dried fruit or ½ cup berries or medium size orange, apple, etc.).

    Cereals - 7-8 portions a day. (1 serving - a ½ cup of pasta from durum wheat, rice, or 2 tablespoons of any cereal or 1 slice of bread is medium in size, preferably wholemeal).

    Fresh fish, lean beef, chicken, turkey - to use a maximum of 2 servings  a day (1 serving - 80g of cooked meat).

    Dairy products - eat 2-3 servings a day of dairy products with low fat content. (This will be equal to 50g of cheese or cottage cheese, 1 cup of yogurt or milk).

    Vegetable Oil - 2-3 servings a day (2-3 teaspoons per day) of any crude oil, including sauces, which are included in these oils.

    Beans,  seeds, nuts - eat 4-5 servings per week (1 portion - a ½ cup of beans or 2 spoon treated seeds or 1/3 cup of nuts).

    Various sweets - can be consumed 5 servings per week (1 serving - 1 tablespoon sugar).

The first place in protein products  is fish. Fish meals in 1-2 days per week  nourish your body with essential fatty acids omega-3, reduces the amount of triglycerides in the blood. A good source of vegetable protein is a chicken, turkey skinless, egg proteins, different types of beans (lentils, beans, peas), as well as from various whole cereal grains.

    Vegetables and fruits is better to use fresh or frozen, boiled, baked. Limit in the diet a roasted vegetables, sweet syrup.

    In the diet, with cerebrovascular disorders and hypertension is not advisable to eat a dough pastries, donuts, pies, cakes. But as an exception, you   can  afford sometimes a small piece of cake or a pies.

   This Diet for cerebrovascular disorders and hypertension is a way of nutrition for all life. Happily, you don't have a need in strict binding to certain foods in it.
