Black Ashberry

     Hard to believe, but before the beginning of XX century, the plant was grown exclusively for decorating gardens and parks. Indeed, white flowers and dense dark-green leaves look beautiful. In autumn, black bunches of berries look like real ornament against a background of orange-red leaves. All therapeutic force of black mountain ash consist just inside them.

     Vitamin KITCHEN

     The flesh contains vitamins C, Ba, carotene, tocopherol, nicotine and folic acids, flavonoids. According to the content of ascorbic acid chokeberry surpasses many plants, and to the quantity of Vitamin P generally ranked first among all fruits and vegetables. Enough to eat only 10 g of fresh berries black mountain ash, to meet our daily vitamin P requirement. The fruits contain a fair quantity of iodine (only plant Feijoa exels Aron in this).
